Today's Statement

Well, today I made a statement. That statements was "I am not at all please with the current conditions of the litter-box." I hate having to share a litter-box. *hiss* Mommy says I'm just picky, but I say that I do not like it. I let Mommy know my displeasure by peeing on other convienant things like floors, rugs, Dog's bed, ect. Today I chose the bathroom rug. When Grandma Judy went to scoop out the box she noticed my markings on the rug and got mad at Mommy. Well, something had to be said! I like having a purrrrfectly clean potty-place. So Mommy cleaned it all out and has the rug ready to go into the wash. Aunt 'Lissy came by today too! She napped on the bed most of the day though. She looked really tired. But she did make sure to pet me before she fell asleep. Aunt 'Lissy is one of my favorite people. I like it when she comes to visit. She understands me somehow. I let her rub my belly all the time, which I don't even let Mommy do. Anyway, just thought I'd add this post for the day.

Aug. 28th Update

It rained on me!
I was trying to play outside on the porch and it decided to rain! *hiss* And not only rain, but hail! I tried to get my way by standing there anyway, but the hail kept pelting me in the side. I finally had enough and scooted back into the house. Mommy and Papa laughed at my stubbornness. I waited until the small storm had passed then went back outside so that I could sit in the sun. The Bear is leaving me alone today. It's about time! And Dog hasn't been that annoying lately. All in all things are going well for me right now. Mommy says she's proud of how much more social I am now. And how brave I am about going outside on the porch to play. I'm not as skittish as I used to be. I'm glad, because I can have more fun this way! Mommy did get just a few more pics recently. Enjoy!

Catster

Well, not too much for today's update. Great Granny (on Mommy's side) is up visiting this week. She brought her dog Sugar, a miniature poodle, along with her! So, I've been hiding a lot. Stupid dogs! Also Mommy's aunt Emma has been bringing her lil poodle Lucky over too. I'm surrounded by dogs! Hmmph!

More pictures

Well, mom was having fun with the camera today so I got some more pics. Bear chased me AGAIN today so Mommy sprayed him with the water bottle to make him stop. I didn't even hiss at him this time! He chased me for NO reason! How RUDE!

First pic is the wonderful cat-house that Papa built! It has the toys on the lower platform, with a fun scratchy arch thingy. Above that is the cube (great for hiding!). Above that is the upper platform which also has toys. Mommy keeps it sprinkled with catnip for me!


The second pic is me outside hiding under a chair on the porch. Mommy took it moments before Bear chased me.


Next is a picture of Bear, also taken right before he chased me.


Finally, the great porch! Look at all the room I have to lay out in the sun! You can see Dog walking around in the pic too.

Updates!

Hi, Luna here. It's been a while since our last update. A lot has happened over the last few months. So I'll fill you all in.

Mommy decided to move back in with her parents for a while. I'm not sure what's going on really. All I know is one day she loaded up me and Dog and we got relocated. So now I'm stuck with Lil' Bear. I don't like him messing with me all the time. I do not WANT to play with him. So I growl and hiss at him. Then he chases me! He's so mean! Then Mommy yells at us and we get in trouble for fighting. I think I miss Shaft. I didn't mind playing with him. I must say that I do like it here. Papa pets me all the time and gives me treats! I was lucky for a while and was getting fed 3 times a day! But Mommy found out and lectured Papa for the extra feeding, so it's back down to only 2. So unfair! They have an awesome playhouse here too! Bear doesn't really use it much, but I just LOVE it! I'll have to get some pictures for you all. Papa built it just for Bear. The store-bought ones were too small for Bear since he's such a big cat, so he built one himself. It's so roomy! And all padded and soft! And I can get up SO high to play. I enjoy it here. I even get to go outside now. I was unsure at first, but now I love to go out onto the back porch and lay in the sun.

In other news, Dog had a recent surgery. She has something with her skin where she gets these 'cysts' that grow on it. The vet says they aren't cancerous or dangerous or anything though. She got one big one on her back that she chewed on all the time. So Mommy finally decided that something had to be done and took Dog to the vet. She's much better now and her stitches are due to come out tomorrow. Mommy spent a lot of time with her to make her feel better after it happened because this time was MUCH worse than the first time Dog had to have this done. And what about ME? Where's MY special attention? Am I not traumatized after the move? Do I not deserve the extra love?
Anyway, Mommy took pictures of Dog's surgery and posted them on her other site. They show a lil bit of blood, just to warn those who think that kind of thing is ick, like I do.

Here is a pic of her now that she's feeling better.



The kittens we had last time worked out ok. Having 4 at one time was a lot of work though! But we survived! The female was Miss Sarah. Then the largest of the males was Carlos. Then there was Peter and Mark. Observe the cuteness that marveled my mother (and took much needed attention away from me!):



Miss Sarah is the little calico. She is laying her head on Peter. Mark is curled up into a ball and Carlos is above him.

I also must inform you of another recent scare. My Auntie 'Lissa brought her dog over one day! I was terrified! This new dog, that they call Spade, was full of puppy energy used to terrify me and even the Bear! Observe!



See the terrifying canine try to look cute, but I know better! She is a pitt-bull and red healer mix. A terror I tell you, like all dogs! *hiss*

Also, Mommy has been not feeling well again. She was in the hospital for 3 days and spent a total of 3 weeks on home I.V. Unfortunately she spent most of that with her parents instead of at home with me at the time. She is doing better now except for her stomach hurting her a lot again. Without Shaft here to kneed her tummy pain away I've been trying to be extra cute to make her feel better. I do have news of Shaft since I've been here. The other night during a playing session that redecorated the entertainment center by removing certain items and placing them in the floor, he hurt one of his legs. By the next day he was back to his old self, so it was nothing serious. I'll keep everyone informed as to how he is doing as I get the information.

As for further site updates, I hope to have more to add soon. I did add one new link. It turns out that one of Mommy's favorite authors, John Marco, has a blog so we added his link in the side panel.
